The history of the Ford GT begins in the 1960s - with a clear mission: to beat Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. What followed was motorsport history. The legendary Ford GT40 won the world's most famous endurance race four years in a row, writing one of the most impressive chapters in motorsport history.
 
Today's Ford GT is far more than just a reinterpretation - it is an uncompromising homage to this icon. At the same time, it embodies state-of-the-art engineering. At its heart is a highly developed 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 with 630 hp. With a total weight of just 1,598 kg.
 
A total of 1,350 examples of the current Ford GT were produced worldwide. The particularly exclusive Carbon Series is limited to just 50 vehicles!
But even the purchase of one of these extraordinary vehicles was anything but a matter of course: prospective buyers had to go through a strict selection and application process to even be given the opportunity to order a Ford GT - let alone a Carbon Series.
 
The Carbon Series - the essence of lightweight construction
Our example is one of the most sought-after variants: the Ford GT Carbon Series. Only 50 of these special-edition models have been produced, and they represent the most extreme expression of the lightweight construction philosophy. Compared with its already radically designed sister models, the Carbon Series reduces the weight by a further 18 kilograms. This is made possible by numerous measures, including special lightweight carbon-fibre wheels and titanium wheel nuts. The Carbon Series is thus the limited edition within the limited edition.
 
Production number 21 - one of the last of its kind
Our vehicle bears the production number 21 of model year 2022 and was manufactured on 31 January 2022. Production of the Ford GT finally ended in the same year. This makes this example one of the last vehicles built.
 
Today, the Ford GT is already considered a modern icon. Vehicles like this are increasingly becoming sought-after collector's items.
