Vintage Bulgari Bvlgari 1970s Heavy Curb Chain Necklace & Bracelet PRICE: £22,000.00 An amazing find, this is a very rare piece by Bulgari. Vintage Bulgari has become highly collectable, with incredible prices achieved at auction. From the 1970s, this necklace and bracelet set connects seamlessly to make one long necklace of 23 inches in length. When split, the bracelet measures 8 inches and the necklace is 15 inches long. Both pieces are weighty, with a total weight of 127g. Each panel and curb link are solid, and the piece is signed Bvlgari 750 (18k Gold) Made in Italy. On his death in 1932, Sotirios Voulgaris'sons, Giorgio and Costantino took over the business. They're credited with creating the distinctive ‘Bvlgari’ style, taking inspiration from Greek and Roman classicism, the Italian Renaissance and the 19th century Roman school of goldsmiths. Bulgari developed a star-studded following in the 1960s, with their jewellery famously worn by icons like Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor and Gina Lollobrigida.
