The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph ref. 26240ST represents the modern generation of the maison’s emblematic integrated sports chronograph. Crafted entirely in stainless steel, the watch preserves the unmistakable Royal Oak architecture originally designed by Gérald Genta, including the octagonal bezel, exposed hexagonal screws, and sharply faceted bracelet construction. This green dial configuration introduces a more contemporary and expressive character to the model, with the deep green “Grande Tapisserie” surface shifting dynamically between olive, emerald, and khaki tones depending on lighting conditions. The updated 41 mm case features refined proportions and slimmer chronograph pushers compared to the previous generation, enhancing both ergonomics and visual balance. Through the sapphire caseback, the in-house caliber 4401 can be observed, offering an integrated flyback chronograph architecture with modern finishing and extended autonomy.
