This timepiece features a self-winding mechanical movement, Calibre 240 PS CI J LU, which showcases unique displays, including an instantaneous grand date, day, and moon-phase indications. The grand date is prominently displayed through a twin aperture at 12 o'clock, making it both functional and visually striking. The meticulous development of this movement involved the filing of six specific patent applications, underscoring Patek Philippe’s commitment to innovation and precision in horology.
The Cubitus model is distinguished by its 45 mm square platinum case, characterized by a slender profile that enhances its modern "casual chic" aesthetic. The case design features a captivating interplay of polished and satin-brushed finishes, with a baguette-cut diamond elegantly set on the bezel at 6 o'clock. The sunburst blue dial, with horizontally embossed patterns and white gold applied baton-style hour markers coated in luminescent material, adds depth and sophistication. Completing the look is a navy blue composite strap with a fabric pattern, secured by a platinum Cubitus fold-over clasp.
